4th of July Brownie Recipe

Growing up in the US, and celebrating my birthday on the 3rd of July, The 4th of July has always been a 2 day celebration.

One of our family traditions was to make my favorite brownie recipe. Mom called them Blonde Brownies, but my sister and I always just called them Chocolate Chip Squares.

They remind me of summer, my birthday, the 4th of July and fireworks.
