🎶 Can AI Make Us Feel More Than Humans Can?

In a recent keynote, I used a generative AI tool called Suno to create a piece of music on the spot — live, in front of a corporate audience.

The result? Shock, awe, and a few misty eyes.

Not because the tune was perfect (it wasn’t). But because the process was so powerful, so immediate — and so human in its impact.

Turns out, science agrees.

According to research from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, AI-generated music can evoke more emotional arousal than music composed by humans. Participants in the study reported stronger reactions, even when they knew the music was composed by artificial intelligence.

Why does this matter?

Because we’re standing at the intersection of art and algorithm. And it’s not a battle — it’s a beautiful collaboration.

This is exactly the kind of demonstration I include in my keynotes to help people:

  • Replace fear with fascination
  • Understand AI through direct, relevant examples
  • See how AI can elevate, not replace, human creativity

We often think of AI as cold, mechanical, and detached. But what if it’s the opposite? What if AI helps us become more human — by freeing up time, enhancing our expression, and unlocking untapped potential?

🎤 When I demo AI like Suno from the stage, I’m not just teaching tech — I’m inviting leaders to reimagine what’s possible.

In a world driven by data, let’s not forget: emotion still leads the way. And AI might just be our newest band member in creating meaningful experiences.
