HUGE news from OpenAI. #autonomousagents / #aiagents are here! I\’ve been saying for the last 6 months that Autonomous Agents will make Natural Language Processing models seem quaint and to expect them in 2025.
There have been a few apps that claim to be #ai agents, but none that I\’ve seen that lived up to the capability of a real agent (i.e. a bot that can do complex tasks for you, like research and book flights, find and book concert tickets, etc.) until last week when OpenAI announced Operator. Operator is currently geofenced to the US, but I\’m sure it will be released to other areas soon.
I completely missed this until today because of my travel schedule and fighting the #nqfloods (I\’m fine).
