I think a lot about potential. I’ve spent SO MUCH time backing people whom I thought had a lot of potential – only to be disappointed when they didn’t live up to it. Either because they didn’t see it in themselves, didn’t WANT to live up to it, or they were lacking something out of their control (like my dog, Bindi, being born deaf).

How long do you back someone with potential? What do you do to try to help them unleash their potential? When do you stop backing them.
